Skool Manager AI ("we", "us") provides a timetable allocation tool for schools. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the app or website at skoolmanagerai.com, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address and a hashed password used to sign in.
• School data you enter: school name, logo, teacher names, subjects, classes, period schedule, and constraints. This is needed to generate your timetable.
• Technical data: minimal logs (IP address, browser type, error reports) used only to keep the service running.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the timetable generation feature.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To send transactional emails (login codes, password reset).

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share school data with third parties for marketing.

3. AI processing

When you use the AI timetable allocator, the assignments and constraints you've entered are sent to a trusted AI provider (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) solely to generate the timetable result. The AI provider does not retain this data for training.

4. Data storage and security

Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase) in encrypted form. All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access to your school data is restricted to your account using row-level security.

5. Your rights

• You can edit or delete your school data at any time from inside the app.
• You can request full account deletion by emailing support@skoolmanagerai.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

6. Children's privacy

The app is intended for school administrators and teachers (18+). We do not knowingly collect data directly from students under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email.
